An extraordinary journey awaits you on a sailing yacht. The true essence of this voyage is the spirit of freedom under the sails. Every day we visit a new pearl island, chart our own course and drop anchor wherever we wish.
ROUTE
We leave Hjellestad and leave Bergen behind us. Ahead of us lies a realm of water and rocks — fjords where mountains plunge straight into the sea.
Rosendal will greet us with the rose garden of an old estate and the taste of local cider.
In Odda, we will see glaciers and feel the breath of the mountains, where the path to the legendary Trolltunga begins.
In Norheimsund, we will walk behind the Steinsdalsfossen waterfall — a rare wonder of nature.
In Eidfjord, the yacht will become a point of tranquillity among sheer cliffs and roaring cascades.
In Bekkjarvik, we will enjoy a dinner prepared by a Michelin-starred chef, featuring the bounty of the ocean served straight to our plates.
In Espevaer, we will sleep in a harbour where locals joke about UFO sightings and the sea is as smooth as glass.
And we will return to Hjellestad, nourished by the power of the fjords and the freedom of the sea.

Day 1: Saturday
Hjellestad → Rosendal, Hardangerfjord (~35 miles)
- Gathering at 16:00 at Marina Hjellestad Seilforening (7 km from Bergen airport).
- Settling on the yacht, getting acquainted with all the participants of the journey.
- Safety briefing.
- Departure from Bergen fjords, transition to Hardangerfjord.
- A celebratory dinner to mark the beginning of our journey.
- Rosendal is known for ‘Baron Rosendal’ — an ancient estate and rose garden.
- Atmosphere: first mountains, taste of local cider.
- Overnight stay on the yacht in the marina.
Day 2: Sunday
Rosendal → Odda (~35 miles)
- Breakfast on the yacht.
- Deep entry into Hardangerfjord.
- Odda — the gateway to the famous Trolltunga (trekking can be arranged).
- Atmosphere: powerful waterfalls, glaciers above the fjord
- Overnight stay on the yacht in the marina
Day 3: Monday
Odda → Norheimsund (~40 miles 40 miles back along Hardangerfjord)
- Breakfast on the yacht.
- Norheimsund — a picturesque town with a boat museum.
- Nearby - Steinsdalsfossen waterfall, which you can walk behind without "getting wet".
- Parking on the yacht in the marina.
Day 4: Tuesday
Norheimsund → Mostraumen → Eidfjord (~40 miles)
- Breakfast on the yacht.
- The most picturesque part of Hardangerfjord: narrow Mostraumen, sheer cliffs, seagulls crying, cascading waterfalls.
- Night in Eidfjord. Excellent harbour and hiking trails.
Day 5: Wednesday
Eidfjord → Bekkjarvik (island Selbjørn, ~45 miles)
- Breakfast on the yacht.
- Departure from Hardangerfjord back towards the skerries.
- Bekkjarvik — a cosy fishing village known for its gourmet restaurant (1 Michelin star).
- Overnight stay on the yacht in the marina
Day 6: Thursday
Bekkjarvik → Espevaer (~25 miles)
- Breakfast on the yacht.
- Transfer to Espevaer Island.
- The beautiful island of Espevaer: preserved fishing architecture, clean harbour.
- Known for ‘UFO-ringen’ — strange circular marks on the grass that appeared in the 1970s (locals joke about a visit from UFOs)
Day 7: Friday
Espevaer → Hjellestad (~35 miles)
- Transition along the coast through the skerries, return to the home marina.
- Completion of the circle, farewell dinner on board or at a restaurant in Bergen.
- Or... perhaps you have plans to stay in a hotel and take a break from the rich kaleidoscope of yachting adventures!

Here we have compiled answers to frequently asked questions to simplify your travel choices, where you will get the maximum impressions and comfort.
- In the morning, we wake up around 8-9-10, depending on individual preferences. Have breakfast and head out to the sea around 10 o'clock.
- We sail, sunbathe on the deck, take photos, and videos. We explore beautiful bays, swim, dive, and fish. Lunch is served in a picturesque lagoon.
- Around 4-6 PM, we arrive at the next gem of our route, usually a secluded bay, marina, or port, sometimes with waterfront restaurants. We dine at a local restaurant, savoring the culinary delights and immersing ourselves in the local culture.
- We spend the night on the yacht in cabins, or optionally, one can sleep under the stars, breathing in the scents of pine. Occasionally, we anchor in a secluded bay and enjoy the tranquility.
You will be accommodated in the cabin with a person of the same gender. They are always tidy, interesting, and educated individuals, just like you.
Breakfasts and lunches are organised by a virtuoso chef with a chic style, who makes our trip a festival of gastronomic flavours. He is a charismatic chef who turns cooking into a show!

We are sailing on a large 48-foot cruising sailing catamaran. This is the highest comfort possible, comparable to a hotel, only inside we have a panoramic saloon, a ‘restaurant’ aft, a ‘beach club’ forward, there is a second deck (flybridge) with a sunbathing area.

Simply follow safety procedures: avoid using your phone, only go down to the cabin when necessary during rough waves, take Dramamine on the 1st and 2nd days for better adaptation, look at the horizon, relax, and enjoy the natural wonders.
The team typically consists of interesting, educated individuals with a broad outlook, who make the journey even more vibrant. We welcome moderate alcohol consumption or abstention.Talking about religion and politics is forbidden.
Of course, it is possible and even necessary to involve children from the age of 3 in the sense of freedom that yachting provides. We separate groups with children and without children onto different yachts.
On our trips, everyone is welcome, regardless of their level of preparation. The most important thing to bring is a wonderful, positive attitude! Yachting is always full of exciting adventures!!! There's so much to capture on film!

Be sure to pack:
- Sunscreen with a high level of protection (SPF 30 or higher).
- Sunglasses with UV protection, preferably with a strap to prevent them from flying off.
- A warm sweater or fleece for the evening, as it can get windy at times.
- A windbreaker or any other lightweight waterproof jacket.
- Yachting gloves or fingerless sports gloves for those who want to feel like sailors.
- Swimwear - bikinis, swim trunks, etc.
- Presentable evening wear: for women - lightweight cocktail dresses, for men - lightweight trousers and short-sleeved shirts for dinners at restaurants.
- Light trousers, preferably not jeans.
- Plenty of T-shirts and shirts, including long-sleeved ones to prevent sunburn.
- Headgear - essential, preferably a cap or something else that won't blow away in the wind.
- Yachting shoes - essential. Shoes with a light (white) rubber sole that won't slip (for your safety) and won't leave marks on the deck (for the benefit of the yacht and to observe yachting etiquette). Flat-soled shoes or tennis sneakers with a light sole are suitable. It's not customary to walk barefoot on a yacht, which is also for safety reasons.
- Comfortable shoes for walking around towns, mountains, etc.
- Beach shoes (flip-flops).
- Crocs, water shoes, or special shoes for snorkeling (to protect your feet from sharp stones and sea urchins).
- A spare towel in case the yacht's set gets worn out.
- Phones and chargers, preferably with a car adapter.
- Flash drives and other storage devices for exchanging photos and videos with friends immediately.
- Computers, tablets, etc. - only if you can't do without them. Internet access is available in many places - marinas, restaurants, etc.
- We recommend bringing Dramamine (a harmless herbal tablet). It eliminates the effects of seasickness, allowing you not to notice it. Take it 1 hour before going out to sea.
- Your prescription medications. If you need to take any medications during the trip, don't forget to bring them, as it may be difficult to buy an equivalent at a local pharmacy.

- Personal hygiene items - as you wish, you can buy them locally.
- Camera, camcorder - it's better to buy special waterproof cases for underwater photography in advance.

- A waterproof bag for documents and gadgets (useful for keeping the contents safe during landings on a rubber boat).

- Passport, which must have the necessary visa for entry into the country of travel. Check the validity of your passport.

- Basic tourist medical insurance, costing about €30 per week per person. Yachts are insured, and yacht insurance covers only cases related to the yacht. If desired, we can help you arrange international travel medical insurance.
- Driver's license, including an international one if you want to rent a car.
- Diver certification - if you want to dive during the trip.
For travel in cooler weather:
- Thermal underwear.
- A warm hat.
- Waterproof jacket and trousers.
You cannot bring on the yacht:
- Any tableware.
- Life jackets, rings - the yacht is fully equipped with all necessary safety equipment.
- Plastic suitcases. Bring a soft sports bag that can be easily folded or a wheeled suitcase with a soft collapsible top.
- Prohibited drugs - toxic, narcotic, etc.
- Weapons, including cold weapons.
- Evening gowns, tuxedos, ties, etc. Exceptions can only be made for planned trips to high-end restaurants.
- High-heeled shoes - can only be worn ashore.
